Take a Day Trip to Savannah

The fun never ends here in Tybee and luckily for us we have a place to go that’s not very far that provides a whole other list of things to do!  Savannah is less than 17 miles from the 17th Street Inn and is the perfect place to day trip before the cold days of winter get here.  Take a look at some of the many things you can do in Savannah…there may even be a few things about Tybee in this post!

13. Enjoy a night at the ballpark and cheer on the Savannah Sand Gnats!

12. Spend the day sightseeing and eating on River Street.

11. Play in the waves and sand at Tybee Beach.

10. Build a birdhouse.

9. Run through the sprinkler until your fingers are pruny!

8. Experience the Savannah area on one of the many tours.

7. Make homemade suntea.

6. Visit Gray’s Reef National Marine Sanctuary for a one of a kind underwater experience!

5. Have a picnic, bird watch, or take a nature walk at Skidaway Island State Park.
